Stationed in Adelaide 1874-1879, Victor Harbour 1880-1883, Goolwa 1884-1891, Adelaide 1891-1915.  Police Records state his height was 5ft 8ins.

He passed his Sergeants Exam 19 May 1898 aged 54 years (quite a feat). He lowered his age by 3 years to join Police Force in 1874 aged 29.

 

Interests

None known. But also owned property at Princess Street, Adelaide; Jantilla Road, Victor Harbour; Brana Street, Norwood Park, which appeared to be tenanted.
