Cats! At times she was reported to have had up to
30 cats and had a running battle with Council for 15 years. She eventually
agreed to have just 7 desexed cats with collars but it is not known if she
ever actually kept to that bargain. |

as “The Cat Lady of Prospect” she was a very well known figure in Prospect. There
was a large tiled plaque to her on the footpath outside No. 83 Prospect Road as
part of the Prospect Arts Path but unfortunately this was lost. |
