Duncan & Fraser, coachbuilders, Franklin-street, was attempting to put the connecting-band on the flywheel of a machine when he managed to get his left arm twisted in the belt, and he was whirled round with the wheel. As soon as his mates saw the danger he was in they rescued him and immediately conveyed him to the Hospital, where it was ascertained that his arm was broken in three places.” (Adelaide Observer, 31/3, 1877, p. 11).
