Founder and engineer. Supplied water to the City of Adelaide (with a Mr
Turner) - ‘the water was pumped into large tanks and filtered through
charcoal’, and provided the water supply for the City’s fire trucks. He
erected the first gas works and swimming baths in the City of Adelaide. |
