Prominent in the design and development of picture theatres and municipal buildings in Adelaide and regional South Australia during the 1920s and 1930s. Five of his buildings appearing in the Royal Australian Institute of Australia’s (RAIA) listing of South Australia Significant Twentieth Century Architecture. Designed former Ozone Prospect Picture Theatre (1923); Ozone Enfield Picture Theatre, Nailsworth (1926); consultant to City of Prospect for remedial work on Town hall (late 1930s).
